About Rebecca (ADHD Friendly Version)

Are you tired of constantly feeling on edge? Your body is trying to heal itself by processing the stressful/traumatic events you have been through. This can lead to overwhelm. This is where I come in. I help you navigate the memories and emotions associated with the triggering events in ways that will not overwhelm you. This will enable you to file the memories away as things that happened in the past.

 

As someone who has experienced and healed a lot of traumas in my past, I deeply understand how terrifying it can be to feel out of control of your own body and to take the first steps in reaching out for help. Seeing people thrive in ways that they did not think possible makes the work worth every hard moment.

 

I am neurodivergent affirming. I am certified inEMDR (IFS EMDR and DETUR EMDR) and an ADHD-CCSP. This means I am an expert in trauma along with the diagnosing and non-medication treatment of ADHD. I understand the nuance of diagnosing ADHD and do not simply dismiss symptoms as Bipolar, trauma, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, etc.

 

I worked in community mental health from 2012-2024. During that time, I have helped people manage suicidality, autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, trauma, mania, personality disorders, OCD, etc.
