Desensitization of Triggers and Urge Reprocessing (DeTUR) is an EMDR protocol aimed at reducing addictive behaviors. In DeTUR we target the triggers that cause the desire to complete the unwanted addictive behavior. Desensitization to the triggers produces long lasting remission from the addictive behavior.
